  3. Thank you for your reply! Sorry not to have responded, but I didn;t know that you had replied! I did buy a T4, after thinking that I may not “get into” camping so didn;t spend a great deal in case I decide to sell it on in a year or two! Hope to have some fun in it anyway!

  4. Hello, Am new to the forum. Today my Passat 2012 2.0diesel automatic displayed the ignition coil symbol and lost power. Car does not go over 40mph now and feels like the clutch is slipping. My mechanic ran the computer on the car and picked up fault code p1741. He told me I need be to update my gearbox software. Can anyone shine some light on this, as I am very worried at this stage and lost for what to do. Is this costly and who should I contact. Many thanks niall.

  5. Hi Cathy....welcome to the Club There are so many different type of van out there that look superb and are great driving vehicles. However, the T4 is not one that is up there at the top of the list, but saying that, they were always reliable compared to the later one

  7. Hi Dan Most vehicles (if they have electric mirrors) would have the complete loom in place but not the switch gear to activate it....fitted as an option. However, you will more than likely need to code the new control panel into the CanBus system for to work. Let us know how you get on with it

  8. Hello, I am looking to purchase a T4 (I think, T4 - or other kind maybe!) I have a smallish budget, say around £7,000 but don;t want to make a mistake and obtain anything that wants a lot spent on it, etc. Any advice, ideas and information very welcome. I live close to Plymouth, Devon
