Mags Posted July 18, 2019 Share Posted July 18, 2019 I went out to my car yesterday and tried to open it with the key fob, nothing happened I discovered that the car was unlocked. When I tried to start it, lights flashed and it started clicking, this happened a couple of times then it went completely blank no flashing or clicking. Volkswagen Owners Club Posted July 18, 2019 Share Posted July 18, 2019 Hi....welcome to the Forum If it is an old battery then chances are it has failed. Worth getting the charge rate tested to see if the alternator is working ok and if so then replace the battery and that should resolve the issue.
