Hi, I'm trying to reimport my car and need a register with dvla. But in order to fill out the paperwork I need a certificate of conformity / or somewhere to find the information out to fill out the form. Does anyone have a copy of the certificate that they could email me? Hope someone can help. Cheers

Hey All Mrs recently got a 61 plate Polo and she loves it, only thing she misses from old car is steering wheel controls. I did do a quick Google but wanted to know if someone could confirm if a retrofit of these controls is possible ? Let me know if you need any more car info. Has anyone had a tow bar retro fitted to a Mk6 Polo at an independent company (ie TridentTowing). If so, does the tow bar interfere with the parking sensors?

Hi Folks. I currently own a Volkswagen Polo 02-05 model which is an 05 plate and a 5 door model. I went to get something that I keep in the Spare Wheel compartment located in the boot. When I went in, the Spare Wheel compartment was full of roughly 3 pints full of water. I got rid of it. A few weeks previous, I did notice that the back seat was looking a bit damp but never thought anymore about it. I was therefore wondering if this is perhaps a common problem with this model and vintage of Volkswagen Polo? Your thoughts would be very much appreciated. Many thanks. John G

Hi the name is Andy and I am new to this forum. Not new to VW however, I have had Golfs and an Eos before having a string of four Mercedes. I have just swapped my 2017 C Class for a 2020 Polo GTi Plus. Why ? I have had enough of Mercedes size bills. My last service on the MB was over £1,000. The latest issue was a Nox sensor, also around the £1,000, it also needed a new set of tyres all round so good bye another £800 or so 😒 The Polo is a very different car but after a couple of weeks with it I am loving it. 🙂

My 2020 GTi came with wind deflectors around the side windows front and rear. I don't like them and I have tried to get the off but they don't seem to come off easily. How on earth do they come off, I don't want to damage anything.

Hi there, i have a mk2f polo breadvan that i have just got a lowering kit for, and was curious about exhaust volumes. Obviously they are not powerful cars, but it would be nice for it to at least sound better than the ka i am sitting next to at the traffic lights, any one know any good de-muffled exhaust systems that fit/straight pipe mod jobs?

Hi I have just signed up to this forum I would like start by saying Hi to everyone on here I am in need of some help regarding my VW polo mk2 I have just failed the mot on the emissions test and the mot station advised me to get a catalyst converter fitted, the problem I have is this model was never fitted with one would anyone know if there is a catalyst that would fit it's a 1987 hatchback engine size 1.3 engine code MH I am aware that other Polo variants from this era were fitted with catalyst would any of these fit my car. Hello to you all, Newbie here. My granddaughter has bought a 2016 Polo 1.2 and she has asked me to fix the Air con. The light comes on with the switch but there is no power going to the compressor, I would like to get a wiring diagram so I can check it out. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Thank you

Hi all, Rob here, new member. I've just bought my son a nice little Polo to learn to drive in and as you'd expect with a 2004 car, it needs a bit of 'TLC'. One of the jobs I want to do is refurb the wheels as the previous owners have neglected the old girl a bit. Finding new sticky backed VW logos to replace the very tatty, faded ones is proving next to impossible. The 90mm ones I bought off fleabay are just a couple of mil too small and not quite convex enough. So, If any one has a set in fair condition, I be happy to buy them if available. Hi I have a polo 2006 which has decided to deadlock the passenger door. Managed to change the actuator but the same has happened again door deadlocked shut. Any other ideas what the issue could be. Tia
