    We've took the front bumper off and found a pipe below the engine has come off and needs a new jubilee clip. Would this just be the cause of it or could the turbo have possibly gone as well

    this morning my hubby was driving down the m1 when all of a sudden there was a rather loud popping noise come from the car. after the noise occured the car started to chuck loads of thick black smoke from the exhaust. any ideas on what the problem could possibly be? the car is a 53plate vw touran 2l tdi
