  1. Morning, thanks for the reply. I ended up taking it to an auto electricians who determined it was a loose/faulty main relay (R5) under the engine fuse box. This was replaced and its been fine since this. Hoping this has solved the issue!
  2. Hi all, I am new to this forum so wanted to say Hi. Apologies if this issue has been discussed previously, I couldn't find it when searching. I recently purchased a 2017 diesel Passat Estate which has now showing faults nearly every time I start the car/ going slow in traffic / occassionally on the motorway (scary). The car will not start if these faults come up but If I turn the car off and turn it back on, it often works fine. The faults showing are: Error: Stop / Start Error: Stabilisation Control (ESC) Auto Hold is unavailable Front Assist unavailable Proactive passenger protection unavailable Error: Tyre pressure Loss Indicator Fault: electronic parking brake I have taken it to a couple of garages and have had the battery replaced and the O/S drivers side abs sensor changed but these faults keep returning. I have run a diagnostics using Carista EVO 9.0 and have 53 faults, summarised below: C114602 - Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS): Signal malfunction U112100 - Databus missing message / databus implausable message U01000 - Lost Communication with ECM/PCM U112300 - Databus error value received U041600 - Invalid Data Received from vehicle dynamics control module These messages appear to be sent from different Canbus modules (from what I can gather): ABS Power Steering Air Bags Instrument Cluster Infotainment System Central Electronics Drivers Door Front Passengers Door Ignition authorisation Trailer Adaptive Cruise Control Steering Column Lock Engine Heater & air conditioning Parking/steering assist Worth noting the car has had a stage 1 remap but the faults were showing before this was done so do not believe this would make a difference. Its causing me a real headache at the moment and really keen to get it fixed. Its due to be taken to the garage again on 14th April and I have also contacted a VW main dealer but keen to minimise costs if I can. I was hoping to see if anyone else has seen anything like this and has any advice on what was done to rectify the issue? Thanks in advance.
