I’ve recently bought this polo after 4 Honda jazz’s the issue I’ve got is at a junction there is a lag then a judder before the car moves off and then it’s no problem it behaves until the next junction it has DSG gearbox any advice??

Hi all, Rob here, new member. I've just bought my son a nice little Polo to learn to drive in and as you'd expect with a 2004 car, it needs a bit of 'TLC'. One of the jobs I want to do is refurb the wheels as the previous owners have neglected the old girl a bit. Finding new sticky backed VW logos to replace the very tatty, faded ones is proving next to impossible. The 90mm ones I bought off fleabay are just a couple of mil too small and not quite convex enough. So, If any one has a set in fair condition, I be happy to buy them if available. Hi I have just signed up to this forum I would like start by saying Hi to everyone on here I am in need of some help regarding my VW polo mk2 I have just failed the mot on the emissions test and the mot station advised me to get a catalyst converter fitted, the problem I have is this model was never fitted with one would anyone know if there is a catalyst that would fit it's a 1987 hatchback engine size 1.3 engine code MH I am aware that other Polo variants from this era were fitted with catalyst would any of these fit my car. Hello, I have a 2013 polo, new coils and plugs fitted but the connector to the coil on cylinder 2 doesn’t sit tight enough so causes a misfire. It’s a new genuine vw connector as well. How can I make the connector fit more tightly onto the coil?

My daughter has a 2021 1.0 Polo and it seems to get up to 90 degrees within a minute or so of driving. No water leaks and oil level at half, is this normal as never known a car warm up this fast before

Hi, just had to take one of the rubber bungs out from the spare wheel floor to drain water from it, it was a good 3" deep of water, also the boot area floor is damp and also the rear seats, roof lining dry and everything else till you get to the floor area, i've tried sitting in the boot and someone with a jet wash spraying but that didnt show anything, any help muchly appreciated thanks, paul

Hi, I've just bought a pair of GTi emblems for the front wings of my 6C because they weren't fitted to the car when the previous owner bought it. I'm just wondering if anyone knows the exact placement for them? I know they are like half way down the wing but I want to get them in the right place! Ta Jack

When it gets over a certain temperature outside my Wife's Polo Drivers Seat Belt Wont come out of the reel, I have done a couple of search's online and it seems to be quite a common problem was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue .I phoned VW UK who were as much use as a chocolate tea pot. The car is on a 14 plate with 25000 miles so out of warranty I think this should not be happening TBH has anyone else come across this problem

Hi all after a bit of help. I've just finished rebuilding the top end of my vw polo 1.2 2008 3 cylinder engine. New valves, guide, seal's and Skimmed, new timing kit including hydraulic tensioner. Any way just found this small pin underneath the car. Does anyone recognise it and knows where its from. Not wanting to risk starting the car and wrecking it. Any help would be much appreciated

Hi I have a polo 2006 which has decided to deadlock the passenger door. Managed to change the actuator but the same has happened again door deadlocked shut. Any other ideas what the issue could be. Tia

It’s my first time posting here and I wanted to ask how do you adjust the rear ride height on JOM coilovers. I bought the car couple days ago and didn’t realise it had coilovers until I got tyres put on this morning. The front ride height is fine I just want to lower the rear by a couple of inches. Is it possible to adjust the rear ride height on the JOM blue line coilovers?

Has anyone had a tow bar retro fitted to a Mk6 Polo at an independent company (ie TridentTowing). If so, does the tow bar interfere with the parking sensors?

Hi, I’m looking to buy either a new Polo SE or the Beats model. Going for the DSG gearbox too. The only thing worrying me is the light interior on the Beats. I think it will show dirt and scratches easily over time. Any opinions on the beats interior? Thanks
