  2. Hi all. As a long time Discovery 2 owner I am now seriously considering a Touareg. The story goes like this... I am sick to death of LandRovers! I considered going to an X5 as I don't really go off road much, if at all really (not including flat grass fields occasionally), but I was told X5's are basically a car and no better off road than a two wheel drive estate. I had barely even heard of the Touareg until an X5 owner recommended them to me. Hi there, thanks for the add. Just bought a beautiful R-Line , 2016 with 65K. Love it. The RNS 850 unit has the original SD card with 2016 maps. Local VW dealer says I will need new SD card plus a dealer activation. likely to cost £500-£600 😲. Am thinking would be way cheaper and would give me more apps and other benefits to go for an aftermarket unit, which would have the benefit of internet uploads of maps. Does anyone ahve experiecen of this ort can give me any recommendations please. I'm in the Edinburgh area. Thanks, Graham

  5. Hi, new here and recently bought a 2023 Touareg e-hybrid R. I tow a large caravan and find the standard satnav in the car doesn't allow entry for size, weight etc. My Tom Tom Go Live 1005 Camper Caravan has always worked in prevoius cars (Disco etc) but in Touareg it doesn't pick up satellites. If I stand outside the car and hold device it finds loads! Any idea what I need to do to resolve. Thanking in advance
