Hi folks, New to this forum. My mk7 2017 facelift Golf has developed a strange USB issue. When I plug an Android phone in it randomly tells me "Failed to connect to USB". It does work sometimes but often fails. For instance if using Google Maps it can disconnect. I've changed the phone from a Motorola to a Google Pixel and have used 3 separate Type C cables but the problem is still there. This only started to happen at the start of the year. The socket rarely gets unplugged so wear and tear would be unlikely. Has anybody experienced this? It isn't the end of the world but I was hoping for a nice cheap fix. Thanks Phil

Hi I have a 72 karmen bug that is leaking oil like pig from flywheel seal. Looks like the thrust needs machining. I live near Cardiff does anyone know someone who machines crankcase?

Just bought car and would like to retro fit a reversing camera which would work using existing screens etc. Would prefer to have it fit professionally, but open to options. Looking online leads one to various options, separate camera above licence plate, or, in the tail gate boot opener. Advices please🤔🤔 wgg

We own a 2012 Touareg Altitude , lovely car but I trying to find someone who has fitted side step to an Altitude model, as my wife is struggling to get in and out, any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, spoken to a couple of supplier who said its possible but spacers are needed. I purchased a set of genuine VW steps but there isn't enough clearance to open the door. Cheers Steve

I previously owned an older (2005) Passat that I had to sell years ago to trade down to a small engine car and assist my son (firstly) to get insurance and then my daughter after him when she also passed her test. However, they are experienced drivers these days and after owning a 3 series BMW for the last few years, I have decided to return to VW and since just before Christmas, I am now the proud owner of a 2016 Passat SE Business 2.0 TDI BMT. Its a lot more refined than my previous Passat but alas Android Auto hasn't been configured so I'll be digging into this forum to look for advice and pointers to get this set up as I really enjoyed it …
