Hi can anyone help, my 2005 1.6 fsi golf had a metallic rattle when revving the throttle. i was told it was the timing chain but since replacing with a complete kit inc tensioner,the noise remains have i missed something.

Try changing the track rods, thats what may be causing the rattling noise. Or perhaps the rear bushes and dampers??
