This is a long shot, but I just discovered my late Grandad's 2004 Passat estate (AF54 WPL) is still on the road via gov.uk with over 200,000 miles on the clock! He bought it brand new in 2004 and it was his pride and joy. I remember the first time he turned up to my parents' house in it and he spent ages showing me round. He died in 2007 and my Grandma sold it shortly afterwards. If the owner happens to stumble across this post and is ever thinking about selling I would love to take it off you. I'm very sentimental like that 😁

Hello, sorry for the late reply. My mum happens to own that car and is happy to say it’s still going strong! It’s got about 246000 on the clock. My mums not looking to sell the car unfortunately but I thought I’d let you know that it’s still on the roads!
