geniershow Posted July 3, 2023 Posted July 3, 2023 Hi there,Trying to remedy a timing issue with the 2006 vag 1.4tdi pd 3 cylinder. It jumped the belt.Components checked all is ok.The issue I have is I understand the cam pulley gets locked into position with the timing tool.I had to remove the pulley and now I am unsure can i just refit the pulley and lock the cam through it with the pin, whenever the top cams have been rotated,or do I need to have it set up some way that it will fire correctly/I havent even tried starting it yet.Any help really appreciatedĀ Genie
