Hi guys

 

I have a VW Polo Twist 04 plate hatchback. It has a problem that has now been ongoing for some time and i am yet to discover what it is and was wondering if someone could possibly help me out ! 

 

When i am driving sometimes the car will sort of jump and the revs fly down to 0 then fly back up but then they don't exceed 3000 rpm, untill the car then jumps again and then they go back to normal and the car runs fine again.. until it then jumps again and the same thing reoccurs. It cuts out quite often aswell, and it cant be the battery because i recently bought a new one. 

 

Anyone got any ideas? I think it could be something to do with the MAF,  Would be grateful for some advice though , thanks !
