Hi,

My 2012, 2ltr Bluemotion Passat DSG has recently started to give me some gear selection problems.

Basically it is an occasional problem, where ,after starting the car ,it is extremely difficult to move the gear selector leaver out of the Park position.   It requires extreme force to move the leaver into drive.

My vehicle is still under warranty but before taking it into the local dealer, I wondered if anyone else had experienced a similar problem.  Would be grateful for any info. on this problem ,as it is very inconvenient to get to the dealer.
