Both front door (puddle) lights stopped working together. Is there a seperate fuse maybe? .....anyone help if you can please

first time poster, not very used to this! I have a VW touran 1.6 TDI 2019 and need to replace the rear air vent. I can only seem to find the older (prior 2015) style of air vent and not the 2016 beyond one - any help would be hugely appreciated. I am very new to this so apologies in advance for any mistakes!

Hi guys. Have not long bought a 2011 1.4 tsi. I want to upgrade it a little. Does any one know if the back box for a mk5 or 6 1.4 tsi exhaust fit? Looking at pictures of both it looks like they are similar but would they have the same hangers etc? Also will other parts fit off them like induction kits etc. Just looking for people experience before I got researching! Thanks guys!

wonder if anyone can help me please I have a vw touran sport is it the pd engine I've been told 05 plate . It started running lumpy so the aa came out and without checking anything he said it was a burnt valve ??? Then another garage told me it's the injector seals ??? Then I've not been convinced I've look up YouTube etc about checking the air mass sensor so I brought a new one fitted it and it seems like the mass sensor isn't doing a thing same symptoms plugged and unplugged is there a fuse to this ?

Hi, Can anyone offer advice on how to sort out a problem with our cabin fan switch. We have had our Touran since 2012 when I retired, we have done a lot of miles touring in it, and it's been fantastic. We have always had it serviced by the main dealer and had them sort out any niggles. As it is getting a bit old we have decided that the main dealer prices are a bit disproportionate to its value now but it has developed a fault which I suspect may be a main dealer job and would like a bit of advice before splashing out for that. Hi there, My Touran 2014 1.6 Tdi. Screen wash stopped working from from severe cold two weeks ago. Both wipers are working fine. Only screen wash not working. Fuse checked, not blown. Screen wash motor is in working condition (removed motor and tested separately). Any suggestion pls? Thanks in Advance Deen

Hi I have recently bought a 2017 touran 1.5 petrol dsg. It came from a VW dealer and is under extended warranty. It has recently come up with the service required light on the dash. VW UK say it should have been serviced but dealer are saying its on a 24 month interval. Last time it was serviced it wasn't serviced by vw and when I rang the garage who serviced it they said its due now. Dealer are adamant that its 24 months and refusing to service it, instead they are saying they will turn off the service light... I purchased a 2007 Touran 1.9tdi for Towing after my Kia Carens refused to start, fitted my own tow ball and dual electrics and Towed it to Santa Pod. 36 Miles short of the Pod it was pulling back, stalling and finally packed up to the east of Brackley on the A43!! Problem one, found a local rescue garage and £420 later Caravan is at the Pod and the Car was dropped at Johns Garage at Brackley, Im giving the Garage a plug here! I’m having issues trying to start my elderly mums touran. No error codes are shown on diagnostic, new battery, new cam sensor, steady flow of fuel to filter, turns over but doesn’t fire. Working one minute and not the next. Anyone any ideas plz. COULD IT BE A FAULTY TANDEM PUMP? Would it cause it to not start?

HI all newbie here, not new to the VW brand though, I have a strange issue where the instrument cluster/clocks lost power this morning after the car was left for a week. I removed the clocks and split them apart, noticed some residue across the PCB so cleaned that off with solvent cleaner and allowed to dry. Refitted the clocks together, refitted to the car they came back to life briefly then turned off, so repeated the process and they stayed on for the whole of a 20 mins drive but didn't power back up when I got back in after refuelling. ANY ADVICE APPRECIATED I have some 18” 5x100 ET35 alloys im looking to fit them to my 2014 Touran using a 15mm adaptor (5x112-5x100) My question is will the 15mm adaptor push the ET35 to much causing the wheel to stick out to far from the arch

Hi guys. As i do not know much about turbo diesels i thought id ask. I had my 2008 1.9tdi stage one tuned. Since the tune i notice a whistling sound when i accelerate through the gears. I read online this could be the turbo spooling up more pressure due to the tune. Or could it be the accuator itself. Is this whistling normal after a stage 1 tune? Its running 160bhp and 325lb of torque off this tune. I could not hear this prior to the tune 3mths ago but have since. It could be a biproduct of the tune but thought id ask as know very little about turbo cars in general. Thanks. Chris.

Wipers have lost conecection apprantly the master wiper motor can't talk to the other. Wipers work don't work on there own from intermittent to fast slow etc. Had it plugged in hope a second hand set of motors fix the issue only fitted on mine a 2004 sport blinking marvless.

Hi all, Have recently purchased a lovely Touran after having a Q5. Long story short, had a child and thought a Q5 would be sufficient for family travel when we eventually had another child, and would have been the case had it not been for twins arriving last week. A blessing nonetheless but meant I had to look at other options, and the Touran was the best fit. Absolutely love the car, and actually prefer it to my old Q5. The only issue I have is that it is a really good spec with halogen headlights. I find it quite surprising the R Line doesn’t come with LED as standard but never mind. Hi everyone, Recently my VW Touran has started acting strange. Initially, the remote stopped working (both keys) but I was not too fussed because I could still unlock the car manually from the door handle and turn on ignition etc and go about my day (none of the buttons worked on the remote, despite having a fresh battery installed). But just now, the car, after unlocking manually from the driver's side door, is not turning on at all. It just says "NO KEY" then "CHECK". Hi Recently my average mpg readout on the digital dash has been fluctuating a lot. It's the average one with a crossed out circle symbol, not the instantaneous one. It used to take a very long time to change as it was averaged over a 600 mike trip, might go up 2mpg on a long trip for example. But recently it jumped up from 46 to 50 on a 5 mike trip, then down to 24. Now it reads about 21 but it seems to change randomly, and far faster than it should. No warning lights, 2011 model...any ideas?

I have a 2008 Touran with a 2.0 TDI 170hp engine. 2 weeks ago the RPM on idle started staying at 1100 from the usual 800-850.This happened everyday, but not every time the car was stopped. I did a check and not a single sensor or code was showing on the computer. In the meantime I changed a cracked water pipe which made the car loose about 1 liter of coolant (replaced now). And also when the RPM is at 1100 and when I press the brakes the steering wheel tends to shake or block for a fraction of a second when turning fast.
