Hi my name is Neil and I'm new here also have a problem with my car that a standard garage have basically said they don't know what's wrong and to take it to an auto electrician which I'm trying to avoid, the code is cylinder 2 misfire and I've done all the normal things, changed spark plugs and coils, had a new injector fitted, changed the MAF sensor, put a new breather pipe for the oil and it still doesn't work, every time you press the accelerator pedal more than about 2cm it judders like crazy and gets worse in higher gears and when it judders it makes the engine management light flash, any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Hello, I bought my first car last year and I love owning a VW convertible Beetle. This is despite all my friends mocking me for owning a hair dressers car lol! I am wondering if anybody else has had any issues with the wipers being infrequently not working?

I had a problem when my 2007 1.9tdi Touran went into limp home mode. The tester said OVERBOOST Crawled under car and pulled on the Turbo boost arm and it was free so not jammed by soot. Bought a second hand vacuum control box, (NOT the N75 as stated in some you tube videos Removed battery for access To remove box undo four torx screws, then slip off two clips on the hose plug end, finally unclip the control electric plug, reverse procedure to refit. Only pain in the backside was the torx screwsm, you cannot see all of them and you need something like a 1/4 drive with a short extension to get in their and apply enough pressure to undo them, mi…

Hi, Can you guys help me please I purchased a new set of wheels and tyres for my 2008 Touareg 2.5TDI R5. unfortunately they do not fit. They were BK Racing alloys with tyres 275/45/20 (9.5j) The supplier insisted these would fit and on trying one I found that they protruded about 30mm out of the arches. Can any body help me in getting the right wheel and tyres for my car. the offset I believe is 5x120. I spent ages contacting suppliers and was promised these would fit but unfortunately they did not. It will play as a Bluetooth accessory but this option doesn't allow full functionality. Can anyone recommend a suitable MP3 device that will be compatible with the car? Many thanks

Hi all, Finally had to do the dad thing and give up my BMW 320i MSport and embrace being a father of 3. Picking up a 2018 Touran SE Family on Thursday. Hi folks, New to this forum. My mk7 2017 facelift Golf has developed a strange USB issue. When I plug an Android phone in it randomly tells me "Failed to connect to USB". It does work sometimes but often fails. For instance if using Google Maps it can disconnect. I've changed the phone from a Motorola to a Google Pixel and have used 3 separate Type C cables but the problem is still there. This only started to happen at the start of the year. The socket rarely gets unplugged so wear and tear would be unlikely. Has anybody experienced this? It isn't the end of the world but I was hoping for a nice cheap fix. Thanks Phil
