2003 Jetta 1.9L TDI w/hydraulic clutch and 5 speed manual transmission. Problem occured suddenly not gradually so must be failure rather than wear. When engine is running and clutch depressed, cannot shift into or out of any gear. With engine off, can shift thru all gears smoothly. With engine off, shift into any gear, then start engine and let clutch out, clutch engagement is smooth, everything is normal until next shift point. Can't shift unless engine is shut off, then shift is smooth, engine restarted and everything normal until next shift point. Same thing happens thru all gears. Clutch engages normally with no chatter. I have a 2016 Golf GTD, I am trying clarify if apple CarPlay is a standard feature? If not how do you get the CarPlay feature installed?

In the last couple of weeks my Golf Plus TDi has developed a strange battery drain issue. If I leave the car unlocked overnight it starts fine the following morning. If I lock it at night it’s totally flat the following morning. Anyone else experienced this or know a likely fix? TIA Stuart

Afternoon have a 01130 Abs fault code on my Scirocco have been told it needs replaced. Abs pump part number is 1K0614517BE. I've seen 2nd Hand replacement ones online but the only thing different is the last 2 letters all other details are the same. How do I clarify that the part I'm wanting to buy will fit. It says it will fit 2008-2015 Hopefully someone can help Thanks Stevie

Hi guys. 2mths ago my bke engine siezed after the turbo blew and emptied the sump in less than 300 yards. I have installed a bkc engine out of a 55 plate A3. "my car is an 08 plate touran. The garage are having problems as the car is stuck in limp mode. Its showing a crank senor error. Due to this the car is hard to start and when started will not go over 3000rpm. Is it because this older type engine uses a crank sensor the tourans computer is not compatable with or cannot understand the reading the crank sensor is sending back to it? Really stuck in a rock and a hard place here as they dont know what to do next. The car had a stage 1" tune months before the turbo failure…

Hi All, I’m new to the forum but on my 5th VW. The latest being a rather lovely kingfisher blue Arteon Shooting Brake. Loving the car but I have an issue with the adaptive cruise and the road sign system. Basically when the cruise is on and it reads a sign, let’s say 50mph for example, it adjusts the speed to 31mph (50kmh) which is annoying at best and borderline dangerous at times. Is there a simple fix for this that I’m missing or is it a full dealer job? Thanks in advance Mick

I have a 2011 2.0 SA match Tiguan an on Friday the cam belt went. It has 76,000 on the clock and was due a cam belt change but just hadn't got round to it. VW have investigated the reason for the Cam belt failure and it was the water pump and although I have extended warranty on the car the warranty company are saying as I missed the replacement interval for the belt they won't honour it. i am currently in dispute as I have said that as the water pump was the root cause this should be covered, any thoughts? i have had a quote of £1350 for a reconditioned engine and wondered if anyone could give me an idea what it might cost to swap over. suffice t…

Hey, Good day. I have a problem with my new beetles 2001 2.0 l engine.. Automatic transmission.. For the past 2 weeks whenever I go on a long way of 140 km/hr Start observing a very rough down shift and I got weird about this issue and stopped aside and then went back to continue my way but unfortunately the gear doesn't shift up to 2 moreover the the rpm reaches to 4 & 5 without shifting.. The wireless carplay in our Polo is very convenient, except that when my wife and I both get in the car, we don’t seem to be able to control which phone connects to CarPlay. Hi,looking for a bit of help with something that is starting to drive me nuts, the clock in my phaeton just stops on a regular basis, I pull the fuse and replace it and its good again for a day or two then it stops again. Don't want to buy a new clock just in case there is another cause. Any help please?

Hi all, I'm thinking of fitting power folding mirrors to my Amarok. Currently they manually fold but are electrically adjustable and heated. Do I need to run new wires or will the required cabling exist in the loom of the vehicle? Obviously I appreciate I will need to change the mirror mechanisms and the switch. Thanks in advance. Dan

I have a 2007 Touran which came with (2nd hand) a multifunctional steering wheel with the paddles for the DGS gearbox and it all works very fun.. but I think it is looking in need of replacement to clean things up a bit - so my question is, from which other newer VW can I get a replacemnt.. my local VW say they do not know as all they would do is replace it with an original wheel.. I really like the look of the new VW Golf R steering wheel though my car has the cruise control on the left hand stalk..

Hi and hope help is near... I have a caddy with a vr6 conversation AAA code( don't know much else) It has a real lack of low down throttle response and runs very lumpy until it hits 2.5/3 rpm then takes off like a vr6 should.. I have replaced ht leads and plugs to start looking for a few other maybe's...... Coil? Maf? Coolant sensor?

Is there a spares part of the owners club as i have quite a variation of new VW o.e parts.

My gear changes are hard and it still thinks its in gear when I put it in neutral Any help much appreciated
