  2. Hi, I bought my daughter a 2007 VW FOX about a year ago. She has recently had a baby and was looking to see how to disable the passenger dash air bag so she can put the baby seat in the front seat facing the rear. There doesn't seem to be a disable switch anywhere and the owner manual says only a VW dealer can do this. Called local dealer and they say the Fox is the only one they can't do !! Apart from removing the air bag fuse !!! which i guess will disable all air bags , anyone here got a solution ? Thanks. Mike.

  7. Can you advise on a compatible rear mounted cycle carrier that will fit my VW UP 2012. My car is leased so I don't want to purchase the roof mounted carrier (as advised by my local dealer) as it's too expensive. I have also spoken to a local towbar company last year and they advise the load weight of the car restricts the installation of a towbar. I thought a manufacturer may have made a suitable rear mounted cycle carrier now that the UP has been out on the market for a year. Much appreciate any feedback.
