  1. Hi all, I'm trying to identify an exhaust given to me some time ago by a friend. Its a Twin front pipe it looks like it goes over a crossmember, as it has a hump, I think the part no on the flexible part is : 6no 253 097c.. Also on the exhaust : 05/2000….could this be the date of manufacture?.. Any help much appreciated. Stan

  5. Name is Bill, waiting for my new DSG Golf R in a couple of months. I had to get rid of my great Skoda Octavia VRS, manual (remapped to 260 bhp) due to a back injury. Can't wait for the R. Cheers

  8. Two issues I need help with. Firstly the mileage display shows ongoing fuel consumption (30.5 mpg which is 50% better in my new Touareg than in the old one) since I had the car, shows consumption on a momentary basis etc.. I want to be able to see the consumption on a specific journey - for example if i decide to drive to Brussels how can I get it to tell me the mpg achieved on that journey? Secondly how can I get it to boot up faster? Because the heated windscreen and heated steering wheel only turn on through the environmental controls on the computer, I have to sit in a damn cold car waiting the two or three minutes for the computer to boot up before I can start to defrost Can anyone help please?
