I just recently had my timing chain and turbo replaced on my 2016 VW Golf SuperSport. Used an independent mechanic and not the dealership. After getting it back, the engine makes a loud screeching noise when I open the hood, doors, trunk and start the car. Sounds like something is trying to cycle but is getting stuck. Acc light and EPC lights are on. Today I noticed that my gas mileage is very poor and after driving it for a long period of time, I had white smoke coming from the engine. I had it towed back to the mechanic. Any input on solutions, other than getting a new mechanic. Feeling a little sick to my stomach after paying a lot of money to have it fixed.
