I'm not currently a VW owner technically but hopefully will be soon. Looking to buy a new Polo or Golf very soon but undecided on which to go for! I have heard good things about the new Polo and love the new Golf look that it has, but if I want a Polo because it looks like a Golf, why not just spend the extra and get a golf!?

 

Anyway, any thoughts on the subject would be appreciated, anything I should be aware of? Any engines/models to avoid?

 

Anybody got any suggestions on trustworthy sites online where i might be able to get a good deal? I would like to buy brand new and will be visiting our local dealer this weekend   :)

I went to our local dealership this weekend and decided that I would go for a new Polo instead of a Golf as I could then get a nice spec level car for my budget. I did get a quote from the dealer but haven't signed up just yet... wanted to get some comparison prices online!

 

Found a couple of sites, offering £1500 off of the OTR which was better that I was offered, anyone used www.myvwpolo.co.uk before? I've asked to speak to the dealer that has provided that quote so I can get a price for my part-ex and finance too!

 

Final choice was a 1.2 TSI R-Line 5dr
