Music compatibility

Hi all. I've recently purchased a new Arteon. Couldn't be happier with the car but my old iPod Nano, that houses all my favourite tracks, is not compatible with the entertainment system. It will play as a Bluetooth accessory but this option doesn't allow full functionality. Can anyone recommend a suitable MP3 device that will be compatible with the car? Many thanks

I generally use my iPhone as a bluetooth connected device and stream music from YouTube (Premium so that you don't get the adverts)

Works on most vehicles I have paired the phone with
