Diagnostics say fault permanent. Is that loom to sensor damaged or sensor itself. Don't really know what permanent means to be honest. Any ideas. Cheers

Any ideas. Cheers Don't want to pin plug to test if it's getting a signal with it being airbag system
Volkswagen Owners Club Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 Usually when wiring is subjected to water ingress it can damage the wire and cause high resistance which could be the reason you have this issue. just cut back the wiring to a good point and put new in place, should cure the fault
