Suspension upgrade

Evening all

I've recently brought a 2005 Sharan and just wanted to know if there are any of suspension upgrades that can be done to them other than lowering springs? Are there any companies that make uprated bushes or anything? 

Also I'm looking to fit a set of 17inch 2005 Passat wheels to it with and ET of 37. The wheels on my car are ET59 I think. Has anyone done this to there car and is there anything I need to look out for?

Maybe worth contacting companies such as DemonTweeks who would sell urethane bush kits for VW and possibly they can cross-refer to your model from a Passat for example
