Delayed action on pull away

My VW Eos  Sport TSI 

When pulling a way fast there is a delay and then suddenly springs into action

it's a bit hairy if pulling away on a roundabout ?

Could have a vacuum leak or air mass meter, you would really need to carry out a scan of the Engine Management Control Unit to see what fault codes are stored to better determine the cause
