Can I "push fold" Door Mirrors on Passat 2006

Just bought a 2006 Passat Estate for my daughter. The door mirrors are electrically adjustable but have no provision for folding on the control knob. Can they be just pushed in when parking in tight areas? Reluctant to try too hard as there seems a lot of resistance.

If it doesn't have a powerfold button then it should just fold in by hand.

Rather than force them inwards I would be tempted to just hit it with the palm of your hand, enough to see if they flex and then go beyond the point where they will just fold in with little resistance.
