Just bought a Passat, and the locking system confuses me.  The key fob will wirelessly open the front two doors but only locks the drivers door, the rear two doors just remain locked. If I open the drivers door with the key the alarm sounds.  Is this normal or is there something adrift with my remote locking system?

Try pressing the button twice (once when the front doors unlock and then again to unlock the rear doors)
