Help! whilst replacing my front headlamp i have damaged the headlamp electrical connector. i have broken the tab off by pushing a screw driver into it's slot.i manage to get it off initially by pressing the 2 sides of the connector with some pliers. how i got this to work is anyone's guess, it just did. i've tried to get the connector off again, and i can't. what are my options if i ever had to release this connector again.

Hi...welcome to the Forum

If it was me trying to release it in the future, I would probably release the bulb first and then that gives you more space and flexibility to release the connector from the bulb.
