barney74b Posted March 26, 2023 Posted March 26, 2023 I own a 2010 vw passat, I have 2 car keys for this car, On one key the car opens but does'nt lock, the other key locks but does'nt open....How can i fix this ?
Volkswagen Owners Club Posted April 14, 2023 Posted April 14, 2023 It could be a defective key and the other one was a replacement owing to this? It may be worth stripping down to see if there is any damage or debris within the key assembly It is a common fault on Renault/Nissan for the microswitches to completely detach from the circuit board and this may also be the case with yours?
