Hi, im new to this site and was just wondering if anyone can help me get a squib ring for my car the part N0 is 

5KO.953.569.AB vw are wanting silly money and are these plug and play thanks, any help would be very helpfull

Hi, thanks for the reply ive already tried ebay and they  have still got my money and no part, do you know if you have to get them coded or is it just plug and play thanks

Thanks, it looks like i will have to get one from vw cant trust ebay thanks for the help, i will let you know what it cost

Hi, sorry to be a pest, ive manage to get a exact same part number but the guy insist that i get it coded to the car is he just after my money or can i fit it myself

All airbags can be fitted by yourself as long as the battery has been disconnected for around 30 minutes to allow any electrical charge to dissipate.

The SRS system looks for a resistance when the ignition is switched back on and as long as it finds the correct resistance then it the light will go out and the system becomes active.

I have never encountered any sort of coding required to fit replacement SRS components.

Thanks for the reply , ive manage to get a second hand one and it works fine, just need to clear air bag light, thanks for all your help
