Barry E Posted February 22 Posted February 22 Having seen that water leaks are common on Passat's I have carried out the recommended actions on my 2004 car and cleaned out the drain hole and replaced the seal around the filter house. Next is to dry out the carpets. I am reluctant to disturb the CCM box as the only issue with the car is the central locking which only works with the manual door lock and the drivers door interior light is not working. Any suggestions please, can I make things worse by touching it and can the current faults be something else within the door CL system. Thank you for any suggestions.
Volkswagen Owners Club Posted February 27 Posted February 27 I would definitely check the control unit under the passenger floor as this is usually affected by water ingress and also takes out the wiring which will need replacing
