I have a car as above. In periods of rain, when I open the rear passenger door, water gushes out! There is slight dampness inside on the floor-well in the corner close to door and seat. Any ideas?

Difficult one to source the water getting in.
A smoke generator is your best bet and if you want to save money then buy one as useful to have for a variety of uses.
