Hi all, 

Apologies if this is in the wrong part of the forum as I am new here and this is my first post. 

My friend owns a 2017 VW Passat hybrid and he sent me this photo (please see below)  the mechanic said it's missing a cover. 

Can anyone verify what this is and if there is a cover please.
