Help neaded, my 2008 passat 2 Ltd s has electrical brake fault, I have seen posts to fix it.. I e... Disconnect battery ext, my car has a remap, would this cause the car to return to factory settings. Urgent help needed. Thanks.

Can it be diagnosed and rectified through a scan tool

I have many functions available on my iCarSoft scanner but imagine VCDS is far more advanced to rectify issues without having to power down the electrical system

Thanks for reply, have spoken to a remaping guy who informes me as long as I don't play with the ECU it will be OK.
