How did you get on with the colour choice.....did you commit to a particular one?

I would be tempted to try eBay and put a starting price of whatever you think is reasonable. If it doesn't exceed the starting price then it won't sell and nothing lost but at least you'll know what its worth then and can reduce the price next time round or leave open to offers. Alternatively, we buy any car and increase their valuation by 25% or so for a more realistic valuation

I wonder if it is a bumper protector for when you are loading things into the boot and avoids scratching the paint?

4x4 direct are a very good supplier of sidesteps....have used the company before and reasonable prices. Fitting - now that is another ballgame, not the easiest to fit so would entrust a garage to do this

The usual fault is that the battery is not strong enough that when the engine is starting the voltage drops too low and flags a fault for the Electric Power Steering (EPS) and takes the steering offline. Have the battery checked for condition and replace if necessary - this is the best place to start your diagnosis

I have just been to see a 2014 sharan I’m wanting to purchase but oddly the heating only seemed to warm up on the drivers side, was so odd, and the ones in the back above doors were also not getting warm? Anyone know what this could be and if it’s expensive to fix? Many thanks

Difficult one to source the water getting in. A smoke generator is your best bet and if you want to save money then buy one as useful to have for a variety of uses. See link below for cheap one through eBay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/175045189596?_skw=smoke+generator&itmmeta=01J8Q2TD01Q82T85KJH2K05RE7&hash=item28c1819fdc:g:bLsAAOSwmSRm8OcX&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA0HoV3kP08IDx%2BKZ9MfhVJKl9GzdaNeHOwXZ5wldCkX0Zi99YEpQXBsz7B0FU4A07LLT8Yj8wnTJo4VROSMXmpQ4J4BRYLtBSP4%2Bg56i1xsJx%2Bt7rQG3x2X1QKVijjjlTT6mL4HEOEyFR450NXikd2MnT%2BC9wynl2qpmbx29db7%2BtA64D2fiy%2FL3zMBHx8LXQITMCOp9GQZl4QkMbYughjRo48NwhgCItXjNYzltbwYf92sYGHOy%2Fm0XRb107ObXk%2FN9ggkvmTGzSWJcjCvKIJBU%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR5LQ6eLFZA -
Usually a third service will be a small one, much like the first service There may be options such as coolant or brake fluid change which is usually chargeable on top of the service price

Passat B7 Climate Control
Volkswagen Owners Club replied to danseantom's topic in Volkswagen Passat Club
in a nutshell.....yes thats right a lot of people set it to 20 degrees at all times which is comfortable in summer and winter....any cooler and it can get too cold/hot Also, in winter when the windows are steamed up the switch the system to recycle as this will draw down the moisture from the inside. Don't use recycle air supply in the summer as this can dry out the interior (and passengers) too much and become uncomfortable...switch to fresh air supply -

Hi....welcome to the Club That sort of journey is ideal if it is motorway and extra-urban routes. As soon as you put it built up urban roads then thats where the problems start for a diesel engine clogging up. Cambelt and water pump - if in doubt get it changed and then clock the miles until the next change is due -
