Hi, I'm having trouble finding the right information online so I thought I would ask in here. I'm looking to raise the motor in my 2011 Golf 1.6 Tdi 66kW to accommodate for slamming my car. I can't seem to find any information on the OEM engine mount bolts. I will obviously need to replace them with longer bolts but I'm having trouble finding the specs for the OEM ones. On top of this, I'm not sure how many of the OEM bolts I will need to replace with the longer ones. If anybody has any information that could help me, it would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

I’ve just taken delivery of a 16 plate GTD on 19’ Santiagos. For me the car sits a little too high so a subtle lower is needed. How low should I go and what’s the best kit to use, I don’t want to slam it, just improve the stance.

Hi. I have a mk6 golf saloon off side wing for sale. It's just been sprayed but I hadn't realised a golf estate front end is different to a golf saloon. Also I have a bumper in new paint for sale and one not in paint which is damaged but repairable. Please message me if you're interested in either. Wanting around £50 for the wing. £50 for the damaged bumper and £150 for the complete, newly sprayed bumper.

Hello, I need to replace the clutch and flywheel in my golf but not sure what brand one to buy. By the looks of it it’s either Luk or Sachs, but I am unsure if I have to use a certain on or either is fine? Any help is appreciated Cheers

Hello, So today i broke down in my 2003 1.4 mark 4 golf the vehicle lost power and since then the engine would not turn over. Upon inspection i found a toothed belt has shredded yet the belt that drives the cams is still in good condition and intact. I will attempt to replace this belt myself providing i dont have to have the engine retimed or however best to explain. Appreciate any potential help

HI ALL, GOLF TDI GT 2007 I'm in need of some advice please. HAS anyone had similar issues as this. Emissions keeps showing. I had two fault codes. One for the Altitude sensor and 24 on the Mass Air Sensor. I've just had the MAS changed and the high pressure fuel pump last week. The car drove fine ish today but it did feel like it was sucking air in to the engine as I accelerated. I'm think it could be the EGR possibility being stuck on backed up. Or could this be a build up of oil into the pipping below the EGR. Any help would be very much appreciated. DICKCO.

Hello, I don't know if anyone knows why my front wheels locked on my Golf? Drove to work fine, then tried to drive away in the evening and the front wheels are completely locked up. It goes into gear fine, and the will move an inch in reverse before stalling. There is fluid leakage, possibly gearbox? Any advice appreciated. Mechanic at garage wants to replace the entire gearbox. Hi I have a knocking noise coming from.my golf R I live in didcot ( pothole central) the radiator clips have been broken but I'm aware of that after my Revo intercooler install by cowboys. a mechanic that has taken my front end off has revieled all 5he cable ties etc not happy. bit we both think the noise is to heavy sounding to just be the radiator so I. going to replace all the suspension and am looking for ideas as what to go for so any ideas would be most welcome many thanks in advance

So Ive replaced what feels like everything, the list so far goes.... Distributor cap HT Leads Spark Plugs Rotor Arm Fuel Pump All Associated Relays Starter Motor Ignition Switch Still she won't start and absolutely no spark. The car turns over freely and sounds to have good compression but I can't get a spark. Today we had the aftermarket alarm and immobiliser taken out just to eliminate that but still nothing. Anybody have any ideas? Any help appreciated Car is a Mk2 Golf Gti 1.8 8V

I have 2015 2.0 tdi vw golf I can’t use apps and voice, as I need activation key. Would like to use apple play on car and voice commands for phone. Been told It cost about £400 from vw, and a cheaper sd card from vision coding voids any warranties. want to be able plug phone in for charging at times and use wireless at other times.
