Got today my new golf 7 variant 1.5 cng but they ask in VW 1800 euros for dynamic led and I was wondering if I can do the job with used ones in a better price of course . Attached the pictures of my car just before I buy it . Thanks for the hospitality and your time regarding this matter.

My Washer Pump supply plug is broken and supply cables mangled. VW dealer can supply the plug only but cannot confirm the cable sizes. Febi can supply a plug already fitted with cables, but I need advice on size of cables. Any advice please?

I own a 2015 Golf Avant with a Discover Pro infotainment system. I successfully updated the VW satnav map sd card using the VW supplied DiscoverCare app 1.0.4 earlier in 2020. Now I am trying to do another update but when I start the exe file on my Windows 10 desktop, I get a message about needing to update the app. I click to go ahead but I just get to a page on the VW website with no further information and the app closes. Is there any way I can find a version update to DiscoverCare or get it to work in some way?

Thinking of buying a Golf Estate to carry dogs and Grandchildren, and do around 15000 miles pa back and forward to work, which Engine should I buy? 66 plate 1.6 TDI or 16 plate 1.6 Blue motion? Is the Blue motion 15 mpg better or just another test tube figure

Hi all I have a golf gtd 2.0 , hope someone can help? Noticed a few days ago that the clutch pedal was releasing slowly, only done it first thing in the morning then appeared to be fine !took the vehicle vw they investigated and told me that the problem is the gear box ? I don’t really understand why as the vehicle seems to go through the gears nicely with no problems ! They quoted me £600-£800 and worst case scenario up to£2000 if they find an issue with clutch or fly whel? Anyone had similar issues? I’m aware of some issues with the slow release valve . tia

Hi Guys I am want to purchase a golf GTI 2016 but have herd horror stories about the turbo are prone to failer. Has anybody had this issue. Would i be better off buying a later model. The car has only done 45000 miles and has full service history. The water pump has been changed. I will be glad of any info you have to offer Thanks in advance

So Ive replaced what feels like everything, the list so far goes.... Distributor cap HT Leads Spark Plugs Rotor Arm Fuel Pump All Associated Relays Starter Motor Ignition Switch Still she won't start and absolutely no spark. The car turns over freely and sounds to have good compression but I can't get a spark. Today we had the aftermarket alarm and immobiliser taken out just to eliminate that but still nothing. Good morning. I am after a little bit of advise please. A couple of months ago my dad gave me his old car, it is a golf mk5 2,0TDI 4 motion. He owned it for the last 15 years ,it has fully VW service history with 68,000mile on the clock. I do not need another car so i am going to sell it, looking on line I have only found a couple for sale and for around £4000.i am wondering if any one can help me price it correctly or if anyone is interested in buying it from me. Hello, I need to replace the clutch and flywheel in my golf but not sure what brand one to buy. By the looks of it it’s either Luk or Sachs, but I am unsure if I have to use a certain on or either is fine? Any help is appreciated Cheers

I have a 65 plate golf and recently had the timing belt changed. The exhaust light has since kept coming on, but when linked up to a diagnostics machine, nothing shows up. It's otherwise running OK. Any ideas?

Hi all just joined up to see if owners alike are experiencing any similar issues or have any suggestions. A few months ago I bought a 2021 VW Golf R-Line Estate. I love it apart from one issue which is brake squeal from the front brakes. This always happens after driving for about 5 minutes and only when light braking. Its very annoying! The noise occurred on the original VW standard disc and pad set which were only 50% worn (car has only done 23K). I have changed the discs, pads and the 8 metal calliper shims for genuine VW parts. I have also cleaned/ wire brushed/ re-greased the brake calliper and slide pins but the squealing noise still happens (new pads…

Hi all my vw golf 2010 has decided not to start or real my key since I replaced both the main battery and the key fob battery now the dash says no key and when the engine starts it cuts out after a, few seconds just wondering if anyone had the, same issue

Driving car the other day and cluster was going mental speedo and revs up and down then next min car cuts out for a second this springs back in to life dose this a few times then dies at work phone rac they say it could be 460 relay go to tps get 1 and car was bit better but still went to cut out so park it up and next morning no power to cluster so car wont start as they have immobiliser in Windows Lights Cd player all work left car till tuesday and its got life again but cluster is flickering Anyone had similar issue thanks Car is a 2008 golf gt tdi 170 sport

hi ,just need some info on undoing camshaft pulley wheel nut on mk2 golf gtd can i use the flat locking plate that slots in end of camshaft while i do it or would it damage anything,thanks

I’ve just taken delivery of a 16 plate GTD on 19’ Santiagos. For me the car sits a little too high so a subtle lower is needed. How low should I go and what’s the best kit to use, I don’t want to slam it, just improve the stance.
