Changed abs sensors and cleaned codes. Drive and hit breaks and lights up on dash flashing and abs. Put back on diagnostic machine still saying left rear abs. Plus breaks at front sound like they scraping. Can anybody assist. Me please

Hello there , sorry if this has already been covered I got a 2005 Passat saloon 2.0 tdi yesterday from a family member its all good apart apart from the swimming pools in the drivers side foot wells front and back even in dry conditions it it keeps flowing in even after emptied out can anyone help ? I found one used in good condition but it's from estate version and my car is saloon. Is there any difference between this two types when we speak about glove box? Thank you

Hi, I am looking for some advice pretty urgently. I have a Passat CC 2.0 TDI DSG which I have owned for 2 years now, covered 30k miles so far. It was a business owned company car prior to my ownership so has full service history, main dealer and has had no expense spared. She's now sat at 200k and last week returning home I noticed a violent juddering coming from the front end when joining the motorway, it's never been there before. Hello all, just changed the anti roll bar bushes, swapped to poly, I was led to believe only 1 nut was flanged on each bracket, turns out both nuts on each bracket are flanged, bit of a pig of a job room wise.

Proud owner of B5.b 4 motion 2003. My ABS is disconnected due to fault. Of course those 2 lights come up to dashboard and MOT guys did not like it. Would some of you suggest a different solution from replacing ABS or dismantling the dashboard to switch them off, please? I thought of maybe some pin bridging in the cable which is now disconnected from ABS. Thanks and best. Joe

Hope someone can please help my dpf light keeps comming on I have had it regenerated about 20 times no fault codes I have had a company come and clean it (£270) have replaced the top sensor and it’s still comming on and going into limp mode would a new dpf sort this once and for all the car is a 13 reg blue motion tdi 140000 miles I love the car and don’t want to get rid of it but am proper fed up with it now cherrs

Can anyone help please? I need to replace the gearbox casing to my sons 2012 Passat. This is an image of the code on the part that needs replacing. What does the WWO 6 ref mean as I have sourced a part but the code is WWO 2 does this make any difference? Or does anyone have a part with the same code to sell?

I like all the new technology in the car and was really enjoying driving it, but VW seem to have messed up with the auto-dimming of the instrument panel lighting. Actually I hadn't even noticed this "feature" until early September when it suddenly became very apparent, annoying and maybe even dangerous. Hello All, I'm new here so please be gentle, so I have a Passat (Shock) B6 2.0TDI 2008. Whilst she drives lovely, and the suspension feels normal. She's decided to develop a noise recently, upon going over rough terrain I can here what sounds like saucepans crashing and banging together (No I do not have a saucepan set in the boot) now from what I can see the suspension components look fine, and as mentioned I don't feel a difference in the suspension and also the handling. My 2002 1.9 tdi 130 sport Passat passed an MOT in Nov 2020 and was fully serviced Feb 2021. However, when I drive on an uneven road, the off side rear suspension 'bangs' or 'thud' to me appropriate but nothing was found on the MOT or service. More recently, even slight movement on the road sounds like two chipmunks are squabbling in the boot. Does anyone have any idea as to what is failing and might need replacing? The springs are not too old so I think i can discount them.

Hello All, Can't seem to find a definitive answer on this, looking at the brake rotor size on the rear, I come up with two sizes, 282 and 286, my model is a 2.0tdi DSG. Is there a difference to the sizing for the electric parking brake or? Any help would be greatly appreciated, should mention my rims are 16's

need help my 2ltr diesel bluemotion passat it takes 5 times to start the car and its under warranty any hints garage said battery is ok and they found petrol in the diesel but that would not cause it not to start car has alway ran ok its just the starting issue garage is reluctant to change parts to see if the one on car is faulty

Can someone tell me what the boot height is from the boot floor to roof? Trying work out if it tall enough for my dog.
