Hi all, recently bought a VW touran 2013. Not many features on there but still a lovely car, also upgraded the wheels to 17" from 15", so have a spare set of OEM alloys and tyres if any needed?

My old Kia carens has been a non starter for a year, had enough and am scrapping it, Santa Pod in a couple of weeks time and needed a tow car so here I am with a 2007 1.9TDi Touran, Towbar fitted (by me) double electrics wired (by me). Also have a Ventura Roof tent fitted for short weekends. After 40mph I get a drone from the front, jacked up all four corners spun wheels not bearings! Anyone here had problems with main pulley, Engine mounts or found a similar drone they have silenced? No steering twitch noticed or vibration under braking but front brakes need sorting they dont bite hard Tony

Hi. I don't usually join vehicle-brand owner forums but VW vans/tourers seem to be a unique bunch. Will be picking up my new-to-me low-mileage 2012 VW Touran either tomorrow or Thursday and is an upgrade from my micro-micro camper Ford Fiesta that has taken me on many epic adventures...very sad to see it go but need the space. Only reason it was in my price range was because of missing middle-row seats. Will be doing a moderate van build with it so will keep an eye out here for ideas...hoping to bring the ideas of the Fiesta build with me as much as possible

Hi. I’m Charlie. I live out in the sticks on the Herefordshire / Worcestershire borders... Bought my first ever VW back in December. It’s the smallest GTI the Up. I bought the wee car to exploit the cracking B roads out where we live. Roads round here are tight naggery bends and tight corners with very few straight bits. I was due to take delivery of a Polo but that car ended up to be a proper leper. Couldn’t find another Polo I liked and ended up with this fun little GTI. Only modifications so far is the remap that has taken it from the 115 BHP they come with to 145. Not a massive gain but wow does it make this wee car go well 👍👍👍👍 Cheers

Hello there, my dad has a 65 plate golf sv which has a rattle from inside the airbag on the steering wheel. I was wondering if anyone has had the same issue. Vw has priced us £1100 to renew it. My dad has heard that there has been issues with the same problem with this model and year.

Good evening everyone Back in VW ownership after 15 years Burnt orange (maybe faded red) Colour Collection cab

My sister in law replaced her headlight units on her 2011? Polo.The units she fitted take H7 bulbs (single filament) where as the originals took H4 bubs (2 filament). This means when she puts on full beam the dipped element goes off! Is there an easy workaround or will she need to replace the headlight units for the correct part e.g one that take H4 bulbs? Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi So I’m going to look at a 2001 1.8T (180) Golf GTi. It looks very clean in the pictures. Has a great amount of service history and the MOTs haven’t had a tremendous amount of problems to deal with from what I’ve seen. It’s only got 89k on the clock which looks correct going by the MOTs. Paying £1500 for it. And includes the Anniversary wheels too. Is this a good price depending on the overall condition? Also is there anything I need to look for in particular. Any major issues they suffer with that someone with very minimal mechanical knowledge would be able to spot. I’ve attached a photo of the car. Includes a winter pack with heated …
