Hi all. Just joined this morning. I own a Passat B5.5, my second Passat after a string of Golfs (mk's 2,3&4). Part way through my list of subtle mods, just front struts to go..... Saving the best (hardest) job for last!

We own a 2012 Touareg Altitude , lovely car but I trying to find someone who has fitted side step to an Altitude model, as my wife is struggling to get in and out, any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, spoken to a couple of supplier who said its possible but spacers are needed. I purchased a set of genuine VW steps but there isn't enough clearance to open the door. Cheers Steve

Hi all. I've recently purchased a new Arteon. Couldn't be happier with the car but my old iPod Nano, that houses all my favourite tracks, is not compatible with the entertainment system. It will play as a Bluetooth accessory but this option doesn't allow full functionality. Can anyone recommend a suitable MP3 device that will be compatible with the car? Many thanks

My old Kia carens has been a non starter for a year, had enough and am scrapping it, Santa Pod in a couple of weeks time and needed a tow car so here I am with a 2007 1.9TDi Touran, Towbar fitted (by me) double electrics wired (by me). Also have a Ventura Roof tent fitted for short weekends. After 40mph I get a drone from the front, jacked up all four corners spun wheels not bearings! Anyone here had problems with main pulley, Engine mounts or found a similar drone they have silenced? No steering twitch noticed or vibration under braking but front brakes need sorting they dont bite hard Tony

Good afternoon folks, I'm new to forum and enjoy the advice and help I get from these forums over the many ownerships of cars I've had over the last 47 years driving. Only second VW I have had with first being an old VW golf about 25 years ago. Bought a R Line Black 2016 2 ltr Passat which looks nice and drives nice. First DSG gearbox which is different to my previous Jaguar XF auto and probably will be my last saloon before going onto Jeep like cars to help get in and out of safely without clattering my dome and twisting the old knee caps too much getting in and out. hi im new here was hoping to gain some useful information from other members. i have a 1.9tdi se passat on a 56 plate i have started to have a bit of trouble with it i have no warning lights on the dash yet for some reason my car keeps losing power and going into limp/safe mode usually after ive been out for a while and want to overtake or accelerating up a hill or small incline on the motorway. when i switch the engine off and turn it back on it resets itself and runs perfect for a while then all of a sudden it will happen again.

Hi guys, I`m here to find some advice on selling our beloved Treg. It`s been the best car we`ve had, but now we`re looking at getting a motorhome so trying to sell some belongings to save up for it! I was thinking of PX, but I want to buy our motorhome from a private seller and avoid the dealers, so that probably won`t be an option..Is there a for sale section I could use here? We`ve got a White R Line 2015 reg, v6 262hp, sunroof 20" wheels, service history, with just over 40,000 miles, nothing up with it at all, drives like a dream. We`ve had it from VW in cardiff about two years ago and put around 10,000 miles on it. Thanks in advance!
