Hello there, my dad has a 65 plate golf sv which has a rattle from inside the airbag on the steering wheel. I was wondering if anyone has had the same issue. Vw has priced us £1100 to renew it. My dad has heard that there has been issues with the same problem with this model and year.

1.8t 20v for sale w reg 138000 tested middle of oct in silver recaro cloth interior which is in very good cond dump valve induction kit 6 disc changer all previous mots part s/history and reciepts. Just a few little bits need doing bottom engine mount has broke handbrake sticks on and theres a couple of scuffs one on r/bumper and a dent on wheel arch hence im only wanting offers around £750 apart from the niggly bits its a clean car never mechanicly let me down email me if interested dale.norcliffe@sky.com

2014 Golf R - Should I wait and get the new Golf R or a GTI with Performance Pack? I haven't not been able to establish when exactly the new Golf R will be available to buy in the UK, but wonder if the GTI is a better bet? Will the new Golf R be as good looking as the GTI? Any advice / information welcome. Phil

Hi, So, I'm new here but not to forums in general (so no need to be too gentle 😉). I've got a 2013 Passat Alltrack DSG 2.0tdi 177 (B7). It's a good car but could be better! What I'm looking for is a practical and reasonably affordable way to lift it by about 1-1.5 inches (I know, shock horror, someone that doesn't want to lower a car!). I then want to be able to space the wheels by about 15-20mm each side to widen the track and then add all terrain tyres - over all similar outcome to the later (B8 variant) Atlas models available in the US (not seen any this side of the pond). Hi all, Finally had to do the dad thing and give up my BMW 320i MSport and embrace being a father of 3. Picking up a 2018 Touran SE Family on Thursday. Hello to all Volkswagen fans and petrol heads just purchased another scirocco mk2 previously I had a mk1 35 yrs ago and couldn’t get rid of the need to have a replacement so now it’s arrived it’s great to be driving a true drivers car and a joy to work on the car has a interesting history VAG OWNED dry storage for 14 years until give to dealerships grandson who didn’t really want it and ended up on the open market with 2 owners and then myself in wonderful original condition anyway looking forward to catching up with all fellow owners and getting some useful information and hopefully I can be an addition to information given. Hi, I bought a 58 plate Golf Sportswagen 2 litre diesel yesterday. I'm sure I'll be asking questions, previous car was a 55 plate Volvo V50 diesel, which was a great car, sat outside my house with 234,000 miles on the clock. Golf is " baby" at 159,000 miles.
