i have a 61 reg passat 2ltr diesel bluemotion its taking 5 attempts to start the car and its annoying as been in vw they thought the battery was fault but i didnt the battery passed all tests took it away took it back the next day same issue then following day they rang said theres petrol in diesel they recommended changing filter, draining the the tank clean it andn line £260 i said no dont drain tank next day pick car up they had drained the tank without permission be great for help cars under warranty

Over the past few day my rns 315 will not turn on ,it has the time display in the middle, today I tried again and it worked but now I'm unable to turn it off with the power button ,I'm guessing this is the fault, any ideas please.

2003 Jetta 1.9L TDI w/hydraulic clutch and 5 speed manual transmission. Problem occured suddenly not gradually so must be failure rather than wear. When engine is running and clutch depressed, cannot shift into or out of any gear. With engine off, can shift thru all gears smoothly. With engine off, shift into any gear, then start engine and let clutch out, clutch engagement is smooth, everything is normal until next shift point. Can't shift unless engine is shut off, then shift is smooth, engine restarted and everything normal until next shift point. Same thing happens thru all gears. Clutch engages normally with no chatter. Hi, I have a VW Caddy transformed to carry a disable person at the rear, I understand the car was lowered to be able to be transformed, but as now is a bit low, every time I pass over a "street hump" the chassis is touching the tarmac, I heard that I could fit "Suspension Air Kit" so I come to you guys to if this would be a solution to increase the gap between the chassis and the road surface and if so which ones should I get? Hello. I've a water leak in boot of my new shape 2011 sharan. I've stripped the boot out but can't trace the source. Water builds up in the box section where the boot lock latches onto and eventually, over time, the water spills out of 4 or so holes towards the underside of the box section and pours into the boot. I've checked the rear vents behind the bumper but these sit lower than the box section and as far as I can tell the water still builds up when the car has been left for a while so I dont think any water that may be getting through the vents is cascading up and over into the box section. I've also had new rear number plate lights sealed and fitted. Any suggestio…

Hi guys, got a mk8 with the above fault. It was in a smash but all error codes cleared new seatbelts etc so no airbag light or anything. Now digital climate control is not working due to above fault. I am also getting fault code b109ef0. Does anybody know the standard coding for the hvac fault so I can overwrite with vcds? Any help would be appreciated Thanks

Can you advise on a compatible rear mounted cycle carrier that will fit my VW UP 2012. My car is leased so I don't want to purchase the roof mounted carrier (as advised by my local dealer) as it's too expensive. I have also spoken to a local towbar company last year and they advise the load weight of the car restricts the installation of a towbar. I thought a manufacturer may have made a suitable rear mounted cycle carrier now that the UP has been out on the market for a year. Much appreciate any feedback.

Hi, I bought my daughter a 2007 VW FOX about a year ago. She has recently had a baby and was looking to see how to disable the passenger dash air bag so she can put the baby seat in the front seat facing the rear. There doesn't seem to be a disable switch anywhere and the owner manual says only a VW dealer can do this. Called local dealer and they say the Fox is the only one they can't do !! Apart from removing the air bag fuse !!! which i guess will disable all air bags , anyone here got a solution ? Thanks. Mike.

Hi all a newbie here looking for some help,after reclining my passenger seat of my MK4 25th Anniversary i have an airbag light on with code N200 (01218) resistance too high.I have done away with the yellow connector under the seat and added extra wire which has been soldered and heat shrunk but airbag light still on,Anybody any ideas what to try next,Thanks in advance

Hi all, I'm thinking of fitting power folding mirrors to my Amarok. Currently they manually fold but are electrically adjustable and heated. Do I need to run new wires or will the required cabling exist in the loom of the vehicle? Obviously I appreciate I will need to change the mirror mechanisms and the switch. Thanks in advance. Dan

Hi new on here,having problems with my 2011 Passat cc 140 GT TDI, the reverse camera has stuck open has done it a few times,disconnected the battery at first and that seemed to reset it but now that doesn't work and is permantly open the camera still works but can't open boot manually anybody come across this problem and know a fix if any?

Hi, My 2012, 2ltr Bluemotion Passat DSG has recently started to give me some gear selection problems. Basically it is an occasional problem, where ,after starting the car ,it is extremely difficult to move the gear selector leaver out of the Park position. It requires extreme force to move the leaver into drive. My vehicle is still under warranty but before taking it into the local dealer, I wondered if anyone else had experienced a similar problem. Would be grateful for any info. on this problem ,as it is very inconvenient to get to the dealer. Thanks Marsh

Hi can anyone help, my 2005 1.6 fsi golf had a metallic rattle when revving the throttle. i was told it was the timing chain but since replacing with a complete kit inc tensioner,the noise remains have i missed something. Thank you

Hi recently done a g28 sensor and rms on a 2014 crafter 2.0 using the special pressing/ aligning tool. Starts and runs bang on until you drive it. Getting p0322 no crank signal. Where did I go wrong? Cheers

Hi, We have a 2014 beetle and we were able to sinc our phones but we can hear people but they can't hear us. The sound is muffled and like we're in a tunnel and very far away.

In the last couple of weeks my Golf Plus TDi has developed a strange battery drain issue. If I leave the car unlocked overnight it starts fine the following morning. If I lock it at night it’s totally flat the following morning. Anyone else experienced this or know a likely fix? TIA Stuart

Afternoon have a 01130 Abs fault code on my Scirocco have been told it needs replaced. Abs pump part number is 1K0614517BE. I've seen 2nd Hand replacement ones online but the only thing different is the last 2 letters all other details are the same. How do I clarify that the part I'm wanting to buy will fit. hi im new here was hoping to gain some useful information from other members. i have a 1.9tdi se passat on a 56 plate i have started to have a bit of trouble with it i have no warning lights on the dash yet for some reason my car keeps losing power and going into limp/safe mode usually after ive been out for a while and want to overtake or accelerating up a hill or small incline on the motorway. when i switch the engine off and turn it back on it resets itself and runs perfect for a while then all of a sudden it will happen again.

Does anybody know what a loud knocking sound could be on a VW Golf 53 plate when turning?? It is a real loud knocking/rattling sound like your dragging metal. It is not continuous,it comes and goes but starts only after turning.

New to this but I’ve had to replace my 4 injectors as the their either dead or near to death as their the cars on 174000miles. When I looked at the part number on my old injectors, they were of 04L not 03L. The picture is of the injector which came out my car. I rang a breakers yard and they told me it’s the wrong injector and that my code is 03L. I’ve ordered a new set of injectors with which are the same as the picture below but I’m concerned due to also checking online that they are not meant for mine but were working perfectly for the however long I’ve owned the car. Any help would be appreciated thanks.
