Hi all, I have bitten the bullet and updated my Golf Mk 7 with a highline reversing camera as a Christmas project and I have fallen foul of the onscreen Park Assist/PDC not working when the sensors are triggerd or from the button unless I set the camera as a lowline losing the extra views. I know it's not a huge deal but my OCD has kicked it..... From what I understand, the gateway module firmware needs updating from the current 5Q0 907 530 AC to 5Q0 907 530 AM. I have spoken to a couple of independent garages with ODIS access who shared horror stories of the ODIS connection working, going through the motions but not doing the update. 54 reg Touran 1.9TDI (105) So it started with the left indicator that had stopped working. I took the cover off, looked at the bulb and put it back together. All worked fine again. Shortly after the right side went, But I couldn't get the twisty bit out of the housing unit. After some playing I got it out but the metal bit had snapped off. I ordered a new part from VW and installed with a new headlight but its still not working. I took the headlight unit out to check for any loose wires but it all looks fine. Any ideas? New headlight unit? or something more going on? Indicators are working fine on the mirror and the rear. To add to that, my airbag light …

Any one know ow how to get stations further away other than just local been thru all the setting I know of but it will only find local stations wanting to get lbc radio and so on

Hi my 2016 Passat Bluetooth and my iPhone are losing connectivity!!! My phone works well in my wife’s car but not in mine. The phone did work well with the Passat until 3 weeks ago !!. Someone has suggested disconnecting the car battery to try to re boot it. any suggestions please

I’ve owned my Scirocco for a couple of weeks now and loving it... I love the ICE, great sound quality and volume for those special trips 😉 I believe it’s the RCD510 With Dynaudio Speakers? The problem is like so many others... it won’t let me connect to BT or stream music from my Iphone8, so my question is what is the easiest solution? I was looking into swapping it out for the RNS510 as I believe it has BT built in? Plus a bonus of SatNav.. or is there another easier/cheaper solution, I would like to keep all the steering wheel controls etc plus I have the rear parking system that displays on the HU, Many thanks Steve.

Hi my wife drives a 2015 Polo SE Tsi Tech and has started having issues around some of the DAB channels. 5 Live seems to be the biggest issue with no reception. Anybody else has anything similar ?

Good morning all, last week I had an unfortunate incident in my Passat 15 plate, double puncture after being forced off a country road, when coming back on both left side tyres were punctured by the tarmac. AA attended, later two new tyres fitted. For the past 10 days during each journey (10 miles) the pressure warning light has come on. I’ve reset on each occasion, pressure fine etc. Is it just a case of they need a longer journey to resync? Many thanks

Hello, Am new to the forum. Today my Passat 2012 2.0diesel automatic displayed the ignition coil symbol and lost power. Car does not go over 40mph now and feels like the clutch is slipping. My mechanic ran the computer on the car and picked up fault code p1741. He told me I need be to update my gearbox software. Can anyone shine some light on this, as I am very worried at this stage and lost for what to do. Is this costly and who should I contact. Many thanks niall.

Dear All After initially emailing the website I have been advised to post here. We recently bought a personalised registration, for a proposed VW Camper Van Purchase. Unfortunately, that fell through and we have bought a motorhome instead. Therefore, we now have the registration to sell, and I would much prefer to sell it to an enthusiast, who will be able to put it on their pride and joy! As stated above, the registration is VW15WOW, we thought it looked like VW is WOW, which would look great on the right vehicle.
