Hi all

My daughter has a 2018 Polo listed as 999CC. I want to know where the level indicator is on the dipstick.

There are two indents on the dipstick at about 1 and 3 cm's then a plastic 'pip' about 5Cm further up.

Car isn't here to photograph so attached is my best Take Hart attempt !

I would say from the drawing that the indentation is the lowest and highest marks for the oil level.
The plastic pip is possibly to avoid oil running back along the stick when checking it??

Thanks. I am keeping it at the top of the lower indent for now.

It was serviced by VW last year, so was thinking of asking them. But I fear they will say bring it in then charge for the experience.
