B11LTY18 Posted October 21 Posted October 21 Good morning. I am after a little bit of advise please. A couple of months ago my dad gave me his old car, it is a golf mk5 2,0TDI 4 motion. He owned it for the last 15 years ,it has fully VW service history with 68,000mile on the clock. I do not need another car so i am going to sell it, looking on line I have only found a couple for sale and for around £4000.i am wondering if any one can help me price it correctly or if anyone is interested in buying it from me. I have been offered a price but not sure if its a good or bad offer. many thanks Dan
Volkswagen Owners Club Posted November 5 Posted November 5 I would be tempted to try eBay and put a starting price of whatever you think is reasonable. If it doesn't exceed the starting price then it won't sell and nothing lost but at least you'll know what its worth then and can reduce the price next time round or leave open to offers. Alternatively, we buy any car and increase their valuation by 25% or so for a more realistic valuation
