ciriwoh Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Hey everyone, I'm in the market for a used car and keep seeing references to vehicle history reports like Carfax or AutoCheck. Some sellers offer them upfront, while others don’t mention it at all. How much weight should I give to these reports when making a decision? What red flags should I look for, and are there any reliable alternatives to these services? Also, can a clean history still hide potential issues? I'd love to hear your experiences or any tips for evaluating a vehicle's background before buying.

Volkswagen Owners Club Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I think for the cost of these reports it is worth considering acquiring as much information about a potential vehicle that you are looking to purchase....which can be a vast amount of money in comparison. General checks and paperwork to prove it is always the best method and if possible, take a mechanic with you to view the car Good luck with your search!
