Anybody help me with these fault codes ??

I have just bought a touran 5 seater and i was wondering is it possible to fit the 2 extra seats out of a 7 seater or is the floor pan a completely different shape in the boot area

Hi all. After a window fail (whilst in Cornwall a couple of weeks ago - rear passenger window dropped and wouldn't release back up....gaffer tape and layer of plastic sheet until we got back!) myself and a neighbour helping me have had a look at a fix. The retainer clip had broken so I sourced the appropriate regulator kit. Managed to get the new plastic clip back on and all seemed ok. Tricky getting the dowel into the window glass and cable in but we eventually managed it. However, once tested we heard a crunching noise and soon realised the cable was being shredded intside the spool. Fortunately the kit included new spool and cables...unfortunately we couldn…

FANS COMING ON WHEN ENGINE OFF AND STAYING ON. HAVE TO TAKE FUSE OUT EVERYTIME TO FIX.

Hi i am trying to find a plastic spacer which fixes to the bottom of the boot so when it is closed it makes a gap between the boot and the rear bumper i cant find the part anywhere. I have one missing and the bottom edge of the boot is going rusty because the rain water is tracking and not dripping of the bottom of the boot when closed, any advice on the part would be welcome

Just started having trouble with my media system not turning on intermittently and since this started happening the middle row interior lights stay on permanently. Only go off when car is locked up. OK in the day as don't notice them but a pain at night time. Done all the usual button checks etc. Anyone else got this issue?

I am hoping someone out there has the answer to my issue...... I have a very basic but immaculate Touran to which I want to add below bumper fog lights. Fitting seems straight forward BUT as a basic model, the light switch loom plug has no facility to add the trigger wire to the assembly so it contacts with the switch itself. Has anyone ever upgraded the plug such that all pins are active and the trigger wire can be inserted into the plug?

Hi All. I have a 2007 Touran 170 sport. In January this year in heavy rain I drove through a very deep puddle. The car continued to drive for another 20mins and stood on tick over until I put it into drive then the engine cut out and wouldn't start. I had the car recovered and a mechanic have a look at it. The injectors are still original but the wiring is new. The injectors were swapped around but fault was still on No1 Cylinder. The ECU was sent away for inspection and came back clean. Does anyone have any idea what to do next.

Are all parcel shelfs compatible with different touran?

Has anybody had any problem having Apple car play fitted to 2018 VW Touran 1.2? My local VW garage has told me it’s not possible unless I spend approx £1200 to ‘convert’ it. Why would VW make a car of this age to not be able to take it? Absolute mystery!

Hi, any opinion would be appreciated. A few months ago my 2006 Touran's had a clutch and fly wheel replacement. The mechanic said there had been only 20ml of transmission oil when they drained it prior to replacing. He said there was probably a leak but I should just top it up with transmission fluid every 6 months or so, it's too expensive to replace the housing. There was a really unpleasant grinding noise as I drove the car away. I took it straight back to the garage. How do i remove the engine cover on a 2004 1.6 fsi touran petrol

Hi I'm having problems with my sway bar on my touran. It not the link bars or the Bush it the actual bar how do i remove it. Do I have to remove the steering rack or drop the front cross member.please can someone help many thanks

Hi - the passenger interior lights are not working. ive replaced the bulbs, and the drivers interior lights work fine. Anyone any ideas what it could be? if a fuse issue, does anyone have a fuse layout, as I cant find anything for the interior lights. Thanks all!

I have a 2008 vw touran and when i unlock using key fob all doors unlock but when i lock using key fob the drivers door doesn't lock and inicators don't blink like usual. Anyone know what this problem is?

Hi guys, I’ve just joined this forum although it’s been long overdue. I’m hoping to have some help here. I’m not sure this is specific to the Touran but i’ve been driving at motorway speeds and noticed the engine seems to cut. If I press the clutch in and rev it, or change gear it kicks back in and it’s fine again. does that sound like it’s being starved? Perhaps oxygen or fuel? it’s just had some fairly large work done, oil leaks and cam belt and it had been working fine. thank you in advance Lee

Hi, I have a 2005 1.9 TDI. Has anyone any idea where the relay is for the front wipers please? I've taken every single relay out one by one from the ralay board behind the fuse box under the steering and the wipers kept working so it's none of them. Help. Or is it a simple case that the wipers have no relay? Thanks in advance

And pulled the fuse on the SRS system which has now lit the Airbag Light, as I have just changed the switchgear/clockspring on my FIAT Panda and need to switch off that light I have purchased a FOXWELL NT630 PRO which apparently can do both, I have an Autel 319 ,a Maxicheck Pro and a FOXWELL NT 301 I thought here we go again, the KIA Caren is going to Hendy KIA on the 1st Oct for a diagnostic, IF and that is a big IF they get it running I will keep the KIA anyone interested in a Touran brand new Fuel pump I paid £2050 for it and have fitted new front discs and EBC Optimax pads..................still lets wait for the result from Hendys. Hi all I am new to this my touran has done just about 209k but I left my house to do a 90 miles drive got there all ok and I got about 10 mins into my journey back that takes 2hrs I stopped at some traffic lights soon as they went green my car made this different nose so pulled over looked under the car looked at tyres all ok lifted bonnet could not see anything different to normal so I Rev the car and soon as I Rev the car I could see smoke coming from the engine so I went to have a look and i thought it smelled like rubber I then rang the brake down and he said the smell n smoke is the diesel fumes that’s escaping but I ended getting recovered can anyone give me any adv…

Hi, need a vehicle with good rear opening size so a van is an obvious choice. But dont really want a van so maybe a nice touran would be a nice option. Just need the rear door opening dimensions so if any of you Touran owners could help me out here it would be much appreciated ☺️
