Hi guys I’m currently wanting to do back box delete on my touran 1t3 2.0. but when I’m looking online the descriptions don’t say if it’s for 1t3 or 1t1 are the exhausts just the same on years 03-15? cheers

Hi all, I purchased my 2014 Touran (2.0 TDI BlueMotion Tech Sport) back in 2018 to replace an ageing BMW 320D M Sport touring. The main Idea of the Touran was that I could load my mountain bikes into the back of the car which would mean they were more secure if I needed to leave the vehicle unatended. This works great as I can easily fit two bikes in with the front wheels removes. The issue I'm having is with the actual journey. I Travel around 250 miles from the Midlands to Wales for better mountain bike trails but on the journey back I'm in so much pain with my right knee that it's almost impossible to drive. Hi all, I have a Touran Trendline S 1.6 TDI 90 BHP 5, Diesel, 2012. Everyday when I start driving and the car is cold I get an exclamation mark on the cruise control and the car enters "emergence mode". I have to switch off and on the car in order to the error goes away. When the car gets warm it doesn't happen at all. Has anyone ever had something similar? Thanks, Rodolfo

Hi I've just found a hose spraying fluid over the engine bay and I'm trying to ide tidy the hose or a part number,it's the one I'm pointing to,if I can't find a replacement hose am I OK to fix it with silicon tape as a temporary measure,got a busy few days on I need the car for,thanks

I have a 1.6 TDI white Touran and the lights are halogen. Has anyone already changed them to LED for that brighter white look.

Was only about 34mpg but having dosed the tank with injector cleaner, pumped up the tyre pressure a couple of PSI higher and with use of the cruise control which doesnt follow Engine note or the car in front when I brimmed the tank I had put in 33L for 367 miles and that worked out at 50mpg Miles divided by Litres multiple by 4.52 give you MPG

Put a new MAF sensor in and checked for codes......nothing checked live info and TP comes up as ZERO I am right in thinking TP is throttle position so how the heck is my Touran following the throttle?? OK GUYS BRAINS TO THE RESCUE PLEASE! Edit PS just phoned bro in law and he suggested pulling the plug and looking for a fault code, good idea, I'll do that AFTER I come back off holiday!

Hi all, my 2013 touran air con smells of wax polish whe turned on, is it a blocked/dirty pollen filter?

Fuel consumption is rubbish on my 1.9tdi Touran so I thought its slow to warm up lets change the thermostat, its not easy to get to the 10mm bolts holding the thermostat housing in place so I first removed the hose, lucky I have hose clamps for that job then found the top bolt is tricky the bottom one is very tricky, I'll say no more there I loosened the turbo hoses on the right side of the engine, on reassembly I test drove it and there was no power because the rubber hose seal had slid up its fitting so you couldnt get the clip on, I did get two codes One was the MAF sensor was outside its normal setting the plug needed pulling off and reseating there and the engine was…

Hi, thanks in advance any advice will be much appreciated. I have a 2014 touran 1.6 manual with stop start with the gearbox code being MFR. Unfortunately the box decided to pack up suddenly, without warning. Now I'm struggling to get hold of a second hand gearbox with the MFR code. Having researched online, I can see that a gearbox with the MAW is very similar and more readily available.T Looking at the VW manual, both gearboxes have identical gear ratios. I can't find any difference, so why make them with different codes. The big question is, is this possible? has anybody fitted a gearbox with a different code to the original?

FANS COMING ON WHEN ENGINE OFF AND STAYING ON. HAVE TO TAKE FUSE OUT EVERYTIME TO FIX.

Hi All. I have a 2007 Touran 170 sport. In January this year in heavy rain I drove through a very deep puddle. The car continued to drive for another 20mins and stood on tick over until I put it into drive then the engine cut out and wouldn't start. I had the car recovered and a mechanic have a look at it. The injectors are still original but the wiring is new. The injectors were swapped around but fault was still on No1 Cylinder. The ECU was sent away for inspection and came back clean. Does anyone have any idea what to do next.

I purchased a 2007 Touran 1.9tdi for Towing after my Kia Carens refused to start, fitted my own tow ball and dual electrics and Towed it to Santa Pod. 36 Miles short of the Pod it was pulling back, stalling and finally packed up to the east of Brackley on the A43!! Problem one, found a local rescue garage and £420 later Caravan is at the Pod and the Car was dropped at Johns Garage at Brackley, Im giving the Garage a plug here! Next day 8am Garage calls its the fuel pump, VW bits easy to get and Work time half what it is in Southampton so £246 lighter new pump fitted and the man hours 2.5 and £100, not bad Broke down at 2pm fixed by 2pm next day! Hi all I am new to this my touran has done just about 209k but I left my house to do a 90 miles drive got there all ok and I got about 10 mins into my journey back that takes 2hrs I stopped at some traffic lights soon as they went green my car made this different nose so pulled over looked under the car looked at tyres all ok lifted bonnet could not see anything different to normal so I Rev the car and soon as I Rev the car I could see smoke coming from the engine so I went to have a look and i thought it smelled like rubber I then rang the brake down and he said the smell n smoke is the diesel fumes that’s escaping but I ended getting recovered can anyone give me any adv…
