Just started having trouble with my media system not turning on intermittently and since this started happening the middle row interior lights stay on permanently. Only go off when car is locked up. OK in the day as don't notice them but a pain at night time. Done all the usual button checks etc. Anyone else got this issue?

first time poster, not very used to this! I have a VW touran 1.6 TDI 2019 and need to replace the rear air vent. I can only seem to find the older (prior 2015) style of air vent and not the 2016 beyond one - any help would be hugely appreciated. I am very new to this so apologies in advance for any mistakes!

Hi, looking to see if anyone has had this kind of issue before please? I've been told its the relay and that would make perfect sense to me, but I cant for the life of me find out which relay it is on the relay board under the steering behind the fuse box? Help please . Ok I know that when the bonnet / Hood is open, the micro switch in the bonnet catch stops the 2 front wipers and the screen wash from working as standard. We initially thought a faulty bonnet switch was causing our issue of the wipers acting very strange, however when they act strange and don't work the screen wash still works so that eliminates it…

any recommendations please? Main dealer pricing is turning out to be ridiculous...

Hi, need a vehicle with good rear opening size so a van is an obvious choice. But dont really want a van so maybe a nice touran would be a nice option. Just need the rear door opening dimensions so if any of you Touran owners could help me out here it would be much appreciated ☺️

Hi, does anyone have any experience of a 2007 Touran quietly cutting out while driving? It's just been serviced and has plenty of diesel in the tank, but it just cuts out and drifts to a standstill. Once stationery, it will start again without a problem, but the fault reoccurs when driving again. The AA thought it might be a faulty cam shaft sensor, but the garage said the code for that isn't coming up as a fault. It's been a brilliant car for years and this is pretty much the first time I've had problems with it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated before I'm charged more enormous labour costs at the garage.

Hi, I have a 2005 1.9 TDI. Has anyone any idea where the relay is for the front wipers please? I've taken every single relay out one by one from the ralay board behind the fuse box under the steering and the wipers kept working so it's none of them. Help. Or is it a simple case that the wipers have no relay? Thanks in advance

Dear all, Say hi to all Touran owners here first 👋 Hope I can get some advice on rear parking camera upgrade. My Touran comes with only Bluetooth infotainment system. No car play, no satellite navigation... etc. I hope to add a parking camera for my wife. May I have some recommendation on it? What should I check to confirm if parking camera is compatible with my Touran? Thank you for your attention. ☺

My key fob is dead, replaced battery, still doesn't work. Does anyone know whether it is possible to use this key and drive the car without the alarm going off? The manual doesn't seem to cover the eventuality of a completely dead key fob.

I have just bought a touran 5 seater and i was wondering is it possible to fit the 2 extra seats out of a 7 seater or is the floor pan a completely different shape in the boot area

Need some advice on a head unit, when I got the car (56 toran tdi 2.0) the old owner said you have to pull the face plate off or the battery will go dead, I suspected it just to be a swap of the red and yellow cables and job done but..... Haveing don't this the same issue has arisen, is this just a nother vw gimic and power has to be sourced from say the fag lighter, or is there something else that needs changing

Heya, I needed a fuse so I borrowed one from the engine bay of my 2017 auto touran Thing is, I've forgotten where I nicked it from, im 95% sure I know but I was just wondering if anybody has a similar fuse layout to give me some peice of mind. For me, it was the only 7.5a fuse I had, and I'm fairly sure it was in F21 Cheers, Pete

Hi, any opinion would be appreciated. A few months ago my 2006 Touran's had a clutch and fly wheel replacement. The mechanic said there had been only 20ml of transmission oil when they drained it prior to replacing. He said there was probably a leak but I should just top it up with transmission fluid every 6 months or so, it's too expensive to replace the housing. There was a really unpleasant grinding noise as I drove the car away. I took it straight back to the garage. Hi - the passenger interior lights are not working. ive replaced the bulbs, and the drivers interior lights work fine. Anyone any ideas what it could be? if a fuse issue, does anyone have a fuse layout, as I cant find anything for the interior lights. Thanks all!

Hi i am trying to find a plastic spacer which fixes to the bottom of the boot so when it is closed it makes a gap between the boot and the rear bumper i cant find the part anywhere. I have one missing and the bottom edge of the boot is going rusty because the rain water is tracking and not dripping of the bottom of the boot when closed, any advice on the part would be welcome

Hi all. After a window fail (whilst in Cornwall a couple of weeks ago - rear passenger window dropped and wouldn't release back up....gaffer tape and layer of plastic sheet until we got back!) myself and a neighbour helping me have had a look at a fix. The retainer clip had broken so I sourced the appropriate regulator kit. Managed to get the new plastic clip back on and all seemed ok. Tricky getting the dowel into the window glass and cable in but we eventually managed it. However, once tested we heard a crunching noise and soon realised the cable was being shredded intside the spool. Fortunately the kit included new spool and cables...unfortunately we couldn…

I have just bought a Vw Touran 2008 . Do all the seats fold completelt flat on this model ? Or do just the last row ,and the the second row just fold flatter but not completly flat ?. Does the front passenger seat fold flat or forward ? I would appreciate any help regarding this thanks Peter

Hello my front windscreen wipers/washer didn't work. I checked fuses , then they worked. I thought i may have resolved a loose connection or something. Then they stopped again, checked fuses , all ok but still not working. They wont make up their mind. Any ideas much appreciated. Thankyou
