Hello. I've a water leak in boot of my new shape 2011 sharan. I've stripped the boot out but can't trace the source. Water builds up in the box section where the boot lock latches onto and eventually, over time, the water spills out of 4 or so holes towards the underside of the box section and pours into the boot. I've checked the rear vents behind the bumper but these sit lower than the box section and as far as I can tell the water still builds up when the car has been left for a while so I dont think any water that may be getting through the vents is cascading up and over into the box section. I've also had new rear number plate lights sealed and fitted. Any suggestio…

Hi all, I've purchased a passat b6 bkp dsg with no reverse gear. When I first got the car it worked after being parked up for a couple of months. I've scanned it with Carly I will attach the errors. As since the car has lost reverse again and has a error stored in the gearbox and something to do with solenoid 3. I wanted to know if there is anything that can cause this I.e low oil or a service may cure. Or would you recommend removing the unit and repair?

Hi guys, got a mk8 with the above fault. It was in a smash but all error codes cleared new seatbelts etc so no airbag light or anything. Now digital climate control is not working due to above fault. I am also getting fault code b109ef0. Does anybody know the standard coding for the hvac fault so I can overwrite with vcds? Any help would be appreciated Thanks

Hi guys. 2mths ago my bke engine siezed after the turbo blew and emptied the sump in less than 300 yards. I have installed a bkc engine out of a 55 plate A3. "my car is an 08 plate touran. The garage are having problems as the car is stuck in limp mode. Its showing a crank senor error. Due to this the car is hard to start and when started will not go over 3000rpm. Is it because this older type engine uses a crank sensor the tourans computer is not compatable with or cannot understand the reading the crank sensor is sending back to it? Really stuck in a rock and a hard place here as they dont know what to do next. The car had a stage 1" tune months before the turbo failure…

I purchased a VW Sharan 1.4TSI 2011 via a private sale in July this year. I needed a 7-seater with the imminent arrival of twins (we already have 3 kids!) and after a lot of research decided that the Sharan fitted the bill. Hi All, I’m new to the forum but on my 5th VW. The latest being a rather lovely kingfisher blue Arteon Shooting Brake. Loving the car but I have an issue with the adaptive cruise and the road sign system. Basically when the cruise is on and it reads a sign, let’s say 50mph for example, it adjusts the speed to 31mph (50kmh) which is annoying at best and borderline dangerous at times. Is there a simple fix for this that I’m missing or is it a full dealer job? Thanks in advance Mick

Hi I have a 2007 VW golf plus with 120000 miles on the clock. The clutch pedal is on the floor. I can pull it back into position and it initially seems OK. I can place it into gear and it starts to drive. If I try to use the clutch pedal again it goes to the floor and does not come back up and I cannot disengage the gear. Is it a master or slave cylinder problem

New to this but I’ve had to replace my 4 injectors as the their either dead or near to death as their the cars on 174000miles. When I looked at the part number on my old injectors, they were of 04L not 03L. The picture is of the injector which came out my car. I rang a breakers yard and they told me it’s the wrong injector and that my code is 03L. I’ve ordered a new set of injectors with which are the same as the picture below but I’m concerned due to also checking online that they are not meant for mine but were working perfectly for the however long I’ve owned the car. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Hi recently done a g28 sensor and rms on a 2014 crafter 2.0 using the special pressing/ aligning tool. Starts and runs bang on until you drive it. Getting p0322 no crank signal. Where did I go wrong? Cheers

I have a 2009 VW polo with a battery that runs flat if I haven’t turned the engine over for about 4 days. It’s been doing this for about 3 years years now. In the past I didn’t drive it much and mostly short journeys but since the problem started I’ve been driving it at least twice a week for about 45 mins each time. I have RAC cover so each time it’s flat they run checks on the battery and almost every time the result is replacement battery needed. My cover provides replacement batteries so there’s no additional cost but it does mean I’m getting about 3 new batteries a year. I’ve had the car checked multiple times for a drain, none can be found and the alternator is fine…

Hi, As per the title my wife 07 eos developed a weird issue on a long trip last week. Suddenly whilst driving the check engine light came on and the interior fan started going up and down with the accelerator pedal. I took it in to have any fault codes read and it showed up a bunch if codes...all 4 glow plugs, plus a pressure leak/ swirl flap fault? When the codes were cleared they have not returned BUT the interior fan is still coming in when accelerating and speeds up and slows down with the accelerator. This is making me consider a possible wiring issue with a possible cut somewhere in the harness causing a short and meaning that the codes may even not…

Anyone managed to install a dual Climatronic heater loom with dash in situ ? Some prat cut the far left plug loom that fits into back of my Climatronic unit (there are three separate plugs in all) during a dash swap and reinstall. I also checked either side of the dash for the left & right temperature sensors and there were no plug loom attached to the sensors and I could not find loom, I had hoped it had fallen back. As a result there’s no control over recirculating flap, no control over left & right temperature flap motors, can’t change direction of air flow to different vents or floor & no AC. Hi all a newbie here looking for some help,after reclining my passenger seat of my MK4 25th Anniversary i have an airbag light on with code N200 (01218) resistance too high.I have done away with the yellow connector under the seat and added extra wire which has been soldered and heat shrunk but airbag light still on,Anybody any ideas what to try next,Thanks in advance

hi im new here was hoping to gain some useful information from other members. i have a 1.9tdi se passat on a 56 plate i have started to have a bit of trouble with it i have no warning lights on the dash yet for some reason my car keeps losing power and going into limp/safe mode usually after ive been out for a while and want to overtake or accelerating up a hill or small incline on the motorway. when i switch the engine off and turn it back on it resets itself and runs perfect for a while then all of a sudden it will happen again.

Hi, I bought my daughter a 2007 VW FOX about a year ago. She has recently had a baby and was looking to see how to disable the passenger dash air bag so she can put the baby seat in the front seat facing the rear. There doesn't seem to be a disable switch anywhere and the owner manual says only a VW dealer can do this. Called local dealer and they say the Fox is the only one they can't do !! Apart from removing the air bag fuse !!! which i guess will disable all air bags , anyone here got a solution ? Thanks. Mike.

Hi all, Just bought myself a 2009 Touareg V6 Altitude model that has the RNS510 and "Premium Telephone Preperation". Went to pair my phone with it. It sees and identifies my Huawei P10 phone (although the VW bluetooth doesn't appear on my phone when it searches). I click on it to connect and after a while it comes back and says "phone not compatible". I tried the same thing with a friends iphone 6 and I get the same problem. Now, I don't want to go back to an old phone just to have handsfree in the car, so I wondered if I can just change the bluetooth module or upgrade the firmware on the module.
