Hi. I have old Passat b5 like in topic. It's from 2003. I have a problem with find replacement for my broken glove box for UK version. I found one used in good condition but it's from estate version and my car is saloon. Is there any difference between this two types when we speak about glove box? Thank you

2002 passat check engine light on and we have to turn over twice before it starts. EVAC and emission. Repair shop said it's going to cost $1000 for the hoses alone. Is this generally the cost of hoses. My goodness.

My 2002 1.9 tdi 130 sport Passat passed an MOT in Nov 2020 and was fully serviced Feb 2021. However, when I drive on an uneven road, the off side rear suspension 'bangs' or 'thud' to me appropriate but nothing was found on the MOT or service. More recently, even slight movement on the road sounds like two chipmunks are squabbling in the boot. Does anyone have any idea as to what is failing and might need replacing? The springs are not too old so I think i can discount them.

I recently purchased a 2017 diesel Passat Estate which has now showing faults nearly every time I start the car/ going slow in traffic / occassionally on the motorway (scary). VW Passat Estate B6 As the MOT was due soon, I decided to check all the brake pads. The front had plenty of wear left although the wear limit warning cable had broken, so I ‘snipped’ it off as it was not part of any management system other than a warning on the dash. I will replace the front pads when necessary, complete with its wear limit warning cable. The rear pads were quite worn, so I decided they needed attention. I replaced the rear pads and drove quite happily for a couple of days using the electric handbrake where needed. Hi, I’m having trouble changing the reversing bulb on the boot lid of my 2014 vw Passat estate. I remove the whole unit. Can access and remove both the brake light and light bulbs, however I can’t access the reversing bulb. Does anyone know how to do this please? Thank you

Hi all this is a long story sorry.ok here goes I fitted glow plugs in a 56 plate Passat 2.0 about 3 years ago not ones as said on a forum about 2 days later the engine management light came on I plugged in and it said glow plug 1 fault 2 fault 3 fault 4 fault so told my friend it could be wrong plugs but it started fine so 3 years down the line he has bought a new car and gave this car to me so I took rocker cover off took out the plugs and everyone goosed I thought strange but on my snap on machine it says there is a short on everyone testes them right enough goosed so then got me test light and tested every wire that goes to the plugs all ok there so I was puzzled I hav…

What does the WWO 6 ref mean as I have sourced a part but the code is WWO 2 does this make any difference? Or does anyone have a part with the same code to sell?

Hi need help whit samthing...I got 2012 vw cc 2.0 tdi....had starting problem....after scanning shows crankshaft and camshaft sensors are bad...after replacing them now car has engine light on and spiral sing flashing and reduced power....so replaced again because that sensor were faulty but still have same problem...any one have any experience would appreciate for help

I have a 2016 Passat SE TD Business 2016 Estate Car. A friend who frequently travels in my car has suffered a concussion incident recently that may have caused a brain injury. She reports that she is badly affected by a side to side rocking motion which she likens to a rocking boat. Also that my car is shaken by almost every bump on an uneven road surface and she feels it badly. I also feel it, but I am not shaken and to me it is just part of the normal process of the suspension absorbing the shocks from the uneven surface. Good morning any one question i am due to drive to spain via france i am in uk at the moment therefor i have to sort my headlights out so i can drive on the lhs iam reading my owners manual and it states if i am driving through europe i need to go to the onboard menu and sellect travel mode what does this do i asume switches the lights over for lhd ??? if not can any one suggest what i can use i.e. stick a couple of strips of gaffa tap over my lights as the lenses are plactic regards Barry

The connection on the turbo boost hose to the intercooler has failed again. The x2 holding lugs to the intercooler connection clip does not hold the hose in position. This is the third hose failure which happens around every 50,000mls. Is there an upgraded clip or other modification available?

Hi, My parking pilot system is playing up. Sometimes it works, others it just beeps at me, the screen says its not available and the light indicator near the gear stick flashes. Its been to a garage today to check it out, and they've determined the front nearside sensor is faulty and needs replacing. Over £250 for the work! Had a look online and a sensor is around £15. So, does anybody have any info on how you get that faulty one out, new one in, and any other reset-electrical works i need to do to resovle this? Thanks in advance
